This is a webcam toy that turns you into a character of your choosing, you weeb.
Once it fits your face reliably,
Face-tracking works best with:
Soft, even lighting from the front (e.g. facing a window)
Hair tied back (to focus on face)
Glasses off
If the tracker is stuck on something that's not your face,
wave your hand across the webcam to "reset" the tracker.
